| Vistas Students Participate in Clap-Out |
|
Houston, TX. On August 28, Jose Rayo who is attending Montgomery College and Ray’chel Vinson who is working, participated in a Clap-Out ceremony at the Vistas High School Program.
|
Clap-Out is held during the school year to recognize students who have met all course requirements for graduation and/or passed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests.
During the ceremony, Ms. Peggy Ekster, the director of the VISTAS program, urged students to commit to success beyond high school.
The Klein ISD is located in north Harris County and has more than 43,527 students in its twenty-six (26) elementary, eight (8) intermediate, and four (4) high schools. Visit the district’s Web site at www.kleinisd.net for additional information about the Klein Independent School District.
